International Yoga Day

Grand Celebration of International Yoga Day at Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Akshendra Welfare Society R in association with awat Public School, Pratap Nagar organized a grand event on the theme "Yoga for One Earth, One Health"

Chairman of Rawat Educational Group and President of Akshendra Welfare Society, Mr. B.S. Rawat shared that this event is organized every year on a large scale to promote health and wellness through yoga.

The program commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony by Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat, Director of Rawat Educational Group and Secretary of Akshendra Welfare Society.

Renowned Yoga Guru Anil Khokhar guided the participants through various asanas and explained their benefits in detail.

Over 200 participants, including the dedicated team members of Akshendra Welfare Society like Amit Sharma, Hemant Sharma, and Mohit Sharma, and the head of Samarpan Sanstha Mr. Daulat Ram, actively took part in the yoga session.

Students of the school also presented special performances to mark the occasion. Various yoga postures and meditation techniques such as Pranayama, Makarasana, Chakrasana, Ushtrasana, and Tadasana were practiced during the session.

In his concluding address, Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat highlighted the importance of International Yoga Day and emphasized the need for daily yoga practice for a balanced and healthy life.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Maitreyi Shukla, Principal of Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar, and Mr. Rajesh Kantharia, Academic Head.
