Igniting interests of the child and relate them to the environment Rawat Public school conducted an activity on 22 December 2018 under ISA activity “Greenland”. The aim of the activity was to know about the causes and effects of deforestation in the countries named Brazil, Canada, Congo, China, Indonesia, Australia and India. In this particular activity students collected information about Geographical situation of the chosen countries. Studied about the climate and prepared projects file. Students marked the chosen countries in the maps. The collected the last ten years data about deforestation, and population increased and industrial development in the chosen countries and showed observed changes. Group discussion and student presentation were organized in which they present their findings and this activity was shared with partner school “ Shanti Niketan Indian School, Qatar. They shared their feedback for the same under exchange activity programme.
