Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar, organized a vibrant Thali Making Contest on 1st May 2025, bringing together students’ creativity, culinary skills, and cultural knowledge. The event was a delightful blend of tradition and innovation, where participants crafted beautifully arranged thalis representing various Indian states and regional cuisines.
Students from different classes enthusiastically took part, showcasing not just the variety of Indian food but also their understanding of presentation, hygiene, and nutritional value. Each thali told a story—highlighting regional diversity, ingredients, and the importance of a balanced diet.
The judges evaluated the thalis based on creativity, nutritional balance, presentation, and explanation given by the participants. The event served as a platform to encourage students to connect with Indian traditions and explore the art of food presentation.
